technology. The one place we cannot replace oil is for transportation. It is constantly being reduced in use per mile for this, but the total miles keep going up. This will be replaced when oil is so expensive that other methods are refined and introduced. But they cannot be "force fed" into the economy, especially by Government subsidies. You are engaging in the Green's favorite "dream castle."
