Which reminds me that not one of us thoughtless individuals ever asked you if you recovered from that terrible experience with Jack the Waxer. Are you walking again? Swimming is an eccentric sport. While the men bear the indignity of shaved legs, arms, back, front for the weeks following the meet, the women are not allowed to shave for weeks preceding the meet. The coach swears that when you shave, you take off not only the hair, but two layers of skin, thus exposing the nerve endings which get all excited and send messages to the brain to swim faster, sort of a total dermal orgasm, I guess. I made up that last part.
