IMHO, the Jaz drive IS impressive. I just purchased one a few weeks ago, the only major "problem" I've had with it is the shortage of the 5-pack of Jaz medias. My favourite mail order house still has plenty of the single medias available. Luckily, I haven't had to contact Iomega via phone for tech support, otherwise with the long hold times I think I'd have a slightly more bitter-tasting experience with the drive.
