Yada yada yada... and we can go back and forth of course...

"Wigner (1961) feels that consciousness or the mind, plays a more directly physical role................... " "Wigner readily concedes that we do not have at our disposal a description of how a state reduction is effected by consiousness." He goes on to state with remarkable candor that, "We are facing here the perennial question, whether we physicists do not go beyone our competence when searching for philosophical truth. I believe that we probably do" (Wigner, 1963).

You can find litterally dozens of scientists, papers, books, etc on the topic as you know know. Few of them seem to be as positive about the whole thing as you... (I guess Einstein was talking to his dog when he said he thinks the moon was their whether there was an observer or not) but then, that doesn't suprise me!

The One thing we DO know, is that you just don't know, and neither do I... so you believe what you want, and I believe what I want. The big difference as usual though.... you think you have a pipeline to the truth. I keep reading on the topic.... And as usual:

<Better still--I can help educate you.>

It's clear who has done the homework and who hasn't... but no need to thank me. Nice to see you doing a little research.

<You entirely misunderstood the analogy.>

No I didn't.... but let's drop it, anyone who cares can easily see what was said.

<The shepard may change but the sheep will always follow. It might be worth your while to consider that the shepard is the true danger.>

I may be worth you while to consider that perhaps the sheep are just being sheep?? OTOH, let's not get too 'out there'... the fact that you can get past religion as THE perpetrator in your "victim perpetrator" model is nice. :)
