The U.S. gov't ran a surplus in April due to record tax receipts. In addition, the trade deficit shrunk last month. One month doesn't make a trend, but that was a welcome break. Let's see if it becomes a trend.

You got to be kidding! What do you think happens once a year on April 15?? I'm unaware of any newly revised budget estimates showing that the federal budget just became balanced or in the black for 2005.
