re "The Iraqis are not fighting for their freedom."

More and more they are. More Iraqis are ratting out the terrorists. Their security forces patrol and police ever larger areas of Iraq. They provided much of the security for the elections. In general there army, police, and security forces have become larger and more effective. When in the past they would just melt away at any opposition, now they are taking the fight too the enemy more and more often. They still rely on Americans for support and they aren't ready to go it alone yet but they are much closer then they where a year or two ago.

Sorry but those reports were anecdotal and they've stopped as quickly as they started. Again, I say to you, less than 5% of the country is able to keep Iraq in anarchy. Its the equivalent of street gangs in this country causing this country to fall into chaos. Only once were they able to do that.......in LA in the early 90s until law enforcement and the state got its act together. It took less than two weeks.

Things are out of control in Iraq and we are losing the war. We need to pull out. I was against the war from the get go and I am even more against it now.

Bring American troops home.......NOW!
