Yes I think it's one of the more common problems with Jaz disks. Before I bought one, I scoured the Internet for reviews/personal experience type of things. That problem is one of the ones I saw a lot of. Most of the time, folks wrote that their entire disk was bad and had to ship it back for a refund. Dunno, but it sure as hell beats my old cheezy Colorado 250 for backing up. I thought perhaps a written manual would have been nice, too.
