Sorry I couldn't be of more help but the additional info didn't lead me to anything new. I don't have a clue what that dll is associated with or what it might do. If you have your 98 installation disk you might try going to start/run and type in "sfc" (without quotes) and then click ok. System file checker may find it if it's been corrupted and prompt you to put in the 98 disk and extract a new copy. Someone running 98 might check their computer for the missing file and email it to you. I'm running XP and it's not on my computer. Hope this helps.
