I stated on September 11 on this board that the American left was not anyone who could be "united with", and they presented the greatest danger to the nation of any of America's enemies. Puff and his left wing cronies have been trying since that day to position themselves against the American war effort and the president's heroic execution of the war so far. They have made the latest attempt with Puff's recent threat to extend his political obstructionism to the war. Their previous attempts have all been crushed in the media, and they have beaten hasty retreats on them all. Perhaps this time they are desperate enough to stand their ground and match GWB's statement "...we take it seriously." with a similar one of their own against him. Just as they are rediscovering that you can't run an election in a recession by proposing tax increases, they will soon find that you also can't run one on support for enemies that murdered thousands of innocent Americans less than six months ago. I look forward more and more to the people setting them straight this November...
