p friend:

Your comments are well taken. I think Novell's needs more loose cannons and some younger blood in its marketing dept. Its time to take off the Mormon white shirt and ties - get loose and tear the ball off the cover.

I'm not pointing the finger at Slitz - he's part of Eric's new team and I respect and support what's going on. However, Microsoft's marketing may have balls AND the arrogance, but lacking arrogance does not mean Novell can't find the balls to really impress people with their vision.

I think its time to "open up" Novell's marketing game more directly to end users. Let some of the ballsy types out there climb inside this thing and exert some influence. Novell needs more loose cannons sliding across its decks. With the way their technology is so solidly built, they can afford to loosen up abit. However, I don't recommend things get out of control.
