You might try the logic that I used. I bought NOVL about 6 months ago and continue to recommend it to associates for one simple reason. They have a very loyal installed base. That's not to say everyone that uses Novell is loyal. Many have moved to NT and others are moving. But the reality is a large portion of the companies clients are loyal to the product and are planning major migrations to NW5.0.

I see a lot of different large companies in my travels and took notice when I kept running into companies committed to Novell. I believe that if Motorola, Young and Rubicam a number of large NYC banks and other smaller companies that I see are staying, there must be a large loyal base. Since I've owned the stock, I have learned that they have been very successful with NDS. That is another plus.

The recovery of Novell is not a sure bet. However; I think that the following that Novell has is every bit a loyal as the following that Apple has. The big benefit that Novell has is that most network software supports netware. That's not true of Apple. In spite of that Apple is coming back. I'm convinced that Novell will also.
