AMD/Cyrix/IDTI are all fighting for the crumbs. Cyrix's 6x86MX runs at a much lower clock rate than they are marketing it at ( PR rating). Cyrix needs the IBM handout to be able to sell any of these things.

I think IDTI has a better simpler CPU design than either cyrix or AMD, and have the right strategy not going headon against Intel.

Intel right now is probably more concerned about product transitions and demand than the 1 or 2 cpu's that cyrix will sell.
