teflon, it is a shame that analysts don't carry some sort of accuracy rating. it would be fairly easy for some firm to track. establish and apply standard measurement & start publishing results. we would see far fewer forecasts from analysts with poor track records. 2 weeks into an accelerating net downturn meeker coincidentally announces a "weakening". she is all but certain that her comments will lead the market to behave in line with her forecast short short term. two months from now maybe she'll have some positive guidance for us...what nonsense.
