My last word - when a White House states on the record that it wants to strengthen "unimpaired powers", I take that as evidence of motive. When I don't see such statements on the part of newspaper editors who expose programs against terrorism, I feel more doubt about their motives.

Pity you don't enjoy coffee, it's a nice way to settle into the day.
