For your consideration.
The number one request from the wounded soldiers at Walter Reed is for
Phone Cards. since many are hospitalized away from home (WRAMC is the
multi-service prosthetic center) and the military does not pay for long
distance calls.

The Medical Family Assistance Center says that they need an "endless
supply" of these. Many of the discount warehouse stores offer good prices on these
cards in various denominations (WalMart, COSTCO, BJ's, Sam's) and even the
PX carries them.

For those of you who might be interested in easing the Christmas loneliness
of these brave men and women who have shed blood in the defense of freedom,
these phone cards are easy to buy, relatively inexpensive and can be mailed
directly to:

Medical Family Assistance Center

Washington, DC 20307-5001

Merry Christmas.
