I'm just trying to raise the level of your dialogue above the mundane and into something that is worth discussing.

There is nothing mundane about what I am saying. If you read the article, you would realize that your position on torture is not the position of the US military. If you read the article, you would know that most of the interrogators believed at least one of the men who died was innocent..he was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time. If you had read the article, you would know that had the man lived his legs would have to have been amputated because they were so badly beaten. Had you read the article, you would know that the man was dying and asked for a glass of water. What he got was a bottle of water with holes at the bottom, allowing the water to drain out onto his lap. Had you read the article you would have known that one of the soldiers recommended the man get medical attention immediately....he was that bad off. Instead, they took him back to his cell and shackled him to the ceiling. If you had read the article, you would know that he died a few hours later still shackled to the ceiling. This man was 22......his whole life was in front of him. He did not deserve to die. And he definitely did not deserve to die in this way.

He died this way at the hands of an American. His torture and death was not unique. It has become way too common in American gulags. When did it become okay for Americans to behave this way in the world? When did torture become the fantasy fulfillment of American soldiers? When did torture become an American blood sport?

And most importantly, where is your outrage?
