"Call me overly optimistic, but I think those time-frames are far too conservative." Agreed. There are now over four million online investors and the annual growth rate it above 150% based on the last year. A very large portion of these folks do there research online also and are fed up with the slow access & download times, and they aren't the type of people who will wait for the price to drop down to $99, they'll buy in the $200-$300 range for the hardware and $20-$30 per month for the service just to save time waiting for downloads. That is just a very small portion of the potential xDSL users. Think about all the other online users chomping at the bit for faster speeds. IMHO
