I copied this from Steve's ref:

S & P 500 + 14.04%
AUSTRALIA + 11.49%
AUSTRIA + 17.06%
BELGIUM + 19.12%
CANADA + 13.55%
FRANCE + 25.78%
GERMANY + 21.68

the table shows the first few entries for the ROI since the start of the year for his WEBs. Well, my list shows the performance of the indices in the local currency.

There's a difference between the performances, which however can not be completely explained away by the changes of the dollar exchange rate. For instance the dollar was somewhere at DM1.75 in January and is now (after a jump to 1.85) back to 1.80DM. Makes a 3% difference. Can it be that somebody is cheating on Steve's pizza money(g)?

The discussion is mainly hypothetical because except for few honorable exceptions (TG, JT, MG I guess) everybody just sticks to US stocks. Forget Hang Seng or Karachi 100 Berney (g)

Too bad for you boyz&gals

Berney, talk to you from a phone near you next week (assuming I get your phone number)

Regards

Janko

PS: BTW we are discussing whether 14 vs 21 is correct or is it 12 vs 28. My point was the big picture (still valid), which says: DJ 9K? Big deal.
