John, David and FredE, can I ask you guys some questions on what I need to buy? I have learned a Lot from you guys.
Last Christmas my husband bought a large screen sony TV and a Sony Video Cassette Recorder( looking at manual it doesn't say digital but why would he buy a new one when our other one was OK, so I am thinking it is, or maybe because it couldn't be hooked up to the TV and Satellite system). Also Bose home theater surround sound. Plus Hughes Digital Satellite System
( Sorry FredE no settop box, so You canot open it up with a screw driver to see if Cube is inside).
HDTV or SDTV by year 2006 Now do I have to buy a different TV?
On my Mac Performa Power PC, says it "Ready for MPEG option for full-screen. full motion video." Have to check with Apple to see about that or is DVD player that I buy going to have that already.
Now do I buy a DVD player for the computer which will R/W and have DLT so I can store and edit my home movies ( My Sharp viewCam) and my new Casio Digital camera I got just the other day, for Picutres and Daughters Web page) also for storage and DVD Ram, and buy another DVD player, one for the Living room for Movies and music?.< If its sounds confusing, I am.>
I have I G harddrive right now W/ 32 Ram, sometime in the near furture I am going to need more storage space.
I have Digital Satellite also hooked up in the same room as the computer is in so I can watch CNBC and follow SI. Is one day my computer going to be hooked up to the Sattellite instead of my Two internet providers? ( Its go out when it rains or real cloudy).
Just think two years ago, I have never been on a computer in my life now I have an online trading account, also I didn't know anything about stocks. My daughter has CUBE in her account for College, 4 yrs long and I have QNTM.
