Knick trenches up to 8.61 g/t Au at East-West

2009-07-30 08:35 ET - News Release

Mr. Jacques Brunelle reports

KNICK EXPLORATION LOCATES GOLD AT SURFACE AND AT DEPTH

Knick Exploration Inc. has completed 1,301 metres of drilling (six holes) on its wholly owned East-West property, located in the Val d'Or mining camp, between and along strike from the active Kiena mine and the old Marban mine. Visible gold was seen in hole LEO-09-06, an image of which can be viewed on the Knick website. This drilling is part of phase I (3,500 metres minimum) of a diamond drilling program currently under way on the western part of the property; logging and sampling of the holes are continuing.

Preliminary geological mapping and prospecting on the east part of the property has located numerous old trench workings, originally excavated in the 1930s and 1940s. Gold assays of 0.187 to 8.61 grams per tonne have been received for the first seven samples collected in the areas of trenching (see table attached). Results are still pending for 18 samples recently submitted for analysis.

The remainder is available to Stockwatch subscribers.
