I think a lot of the zinc mines are taking this opportunity of high prices to mill a lot of their low grade ore. Many of them had to sort of high grade to get through the last bear market. Zinc .34 a few years ago and didn't rise abot .50 until the middle of 05.

Also, mine workers are going to want a piece of the action as companies always ask them to sacrifice when prices are low, but many companies don't like to reciprocate and the workers have to strike.

I agree with the demand statistics that look to pull away from supply in any case and the statistical confirmation as the relentless drop in LME inventory.

We could really see some wild specualtion in the next few months.
