Have you ever heard the technical replications of Bach's fugues composed by a computer? We listened to some in Theory classes, and for me, while I realize they mathematically recreated his work, they completely lack soul. It is the occasional error that humanizes music. But it was so interesting-- that this MAN could almost perfectly create these pieces that were so mathematically designed they could be analyzed and the patterns recreated. What a mind.
