Re: Shell Services Contract Rumor

This is the closest site I can find:

shellus.com

It looks like Shells current Y2K offering is pretty weak. It would make sense that Shell would become a reseller for TPRO since Shell Services seems to be dedicating a lot of their resources to provide Y2K services to their clients. I think the Shell rumor may have some substance to it from a speculative point of view.

If anything, this rumor demonstrates that TPRO does have a huge market potential. It is important at this point to refer to the following quote on news concerning TPRO's warrants:

John Jenkins, Topro CEO stated. "The cash infusion is very timely in that it will help accelerate the launch of our Plant Y2K One(TM) product as we increase our staff and expand marketing efforts."
( biz.yahoo.com )

It appears that TPRO is indeed using its capital to take advantage of the huge market oppurtunity. While TPRO is profitting from it's services business, it obviously understands the amount of business it can generate by providing other services companies with the enabling technology that it itself is using (for a cost). Maybe they will use the Coca Cola strategy of selling the "syrup" to the bottlers.

What a quick way to expand into the market and reap immediate rewards from its lead in Y2K technology.
