Private placement or secondary would be dilutive and a negative to the stock value. Since the stock is going up a a good clip, could it mean that somebody with a lot of resources and a good source has reason to believe a buyout is in the offing at an attractive premium?

If a buyout occurs, I hope it is a firm whoes stock I would continue to find attractive. I would prefer to see this mgmt. team build a major global corporation over the next10-20 years but I don't think they will defer to my wishes.

The above assumes that the recent movement is attributable to the refinance issue. Maybe it's not. Maybe it relates to MOT and CG or TXN and C6X or GTE. I like this latter conjecture better.
