Joe, Pittman is a real player with most printers and will certainly have it's hands full when recognition of Pressteks products becomes prevalent. Through Catalina Coating, Presstek will eventually be manufacturing their own plates. Presstek may share the distrubution of the plates with Pitman. Pitman is marketing the PEARLsetter etc.

I agree that it seems the advantage to Presstek would be many suppliers marketing their products. Must be that Pitman presently provides a lower mark-up and more profit to Presstek.

I'm still having trouble deciphering where any actual confilict of interest exists due to John Dreyer of Pitman acting as a director on the Presstek board. Those I speak to indicate this as a plus for Presstek. How that could be construed as an impropiety or an alarming negative seems to be indicated based on Pierre's words "huge" and his use of caps.

"Those in the industry "also can't understand why the president of Pitman, John Dreyer, is on PRST's board. Like EVERONE else I have spoken with they perceive this as a HUGE CONFLICT OF INTEREST."

"a conflict of interests exists in the minds of those in the industry"

Pierre, If you have information indicating wrongdoing or impropriety by Presstek appointing Dreyer to the board as a director, we would like your input.

Neil
