gongoman: During a bullish trend, there are two major types of rally days. One is when the first hour is up strongly, then weakness mid-day for 2-3 hours, and a strong last hour. The second is when there is some profit taking the first 1-3 hours in terms of the index reading while the breadth is actually pretty positive, and then a strong last 1-2 hours. Then there are a couple of minor types of rally days, which I will get into later and in my TA Training class.
