Welcome Dana,

if you are new to the investment game, then there are some things that you should know about that probably anyone who participates on this thread could give you first hand experience with;

1. IF Xicor were to release earnings that were substantially greater than those that were expected, THEN Xicor stock would have a greater chance of going up then down.

2. I would expect xicors earnings to be out sometime in the 1st or second week of july, the reason for the unknown scheduled release is because they are reporting on a somewhat different cycle this year compared to last years.

3. Your observation regarding the stability of the price is a relatively fair assessment given the weeks market gyrations.

4. I would recomend that you get a copy of XICORS investors packet (1-408-291-2586) so that you can get a better feel for the company. Or go to XICORS web site at www.xicor.com and then go to the investors relations hyperlink and review this information before you make any decisions.

5. This stock could go down dramatically if earnings come out less than expected so be careful, there are no sure things in this game.

IMHO xicor is probably a pretty good bet at these levels, IF xicor can live up to the analyst expectations then we could see xicor trading around $21 late this year.
