Emile, Let's assume you're right for a moment. Do you really believe any God worth worshipping would place human beings on earth & then let them kill each other over a disagreement about which one believed in the true God. Why would God not reveal the truth to all of them? What kind of evil deity would only allow some of his creation to know the truth? It does not make sense & it's beyond me how intelligent people can possibly believe they were so fortunate to be born into the right religion....what unbelieveable good fortune. All religions are man made. Made by childlike creatures who were so frightened by the dangers around them that they needed to write a story of a diety who would protect them. We should be mature enough now to believe in the possibility of peace on earth if we worship the potential goodness of human beings & the beauty of the earth. It sounds silly to those who believe in holy books & redeemers, but those ideas are equally as silly, if not sillier to me.
