The earlier post re Katie Couric that LB posted has impact with the case for any Republican candidate....I hadn't thought about it, but I believe it is correct that most of us, certainly the women, don't sit down anymore watching the news at 6PM (or whenever) They too are mostly working now, dealing with kids of all ages, outside meetings for the kids at night, or traveling for their careers, cooking dinner, laundry, and all the other etcs of daily life.
The media has made it out to be that Romney is heaven forbid....a "Mormon" trying to make him be a runaway religious extremist..... forgetting totally that the more they made of his own personal commitment, the rest of us were looking at him, his family, his wife, his career and the successes he has had....and the fact that he got both an MBA and a JD at the same time from Harvard.
Hopefully, the Repubs will start to broadcast some of these facts....on something other than on the 6PM news. |
