DHL Worldwide Express to Provide Same Day Pickup from Client Locations Anywhere in the 50 States
QuikBIZ Media Centers, a subsidiary of QuikBIZ Internet Group (OTCBB:QBIZ) today announced that within the next two weeks it will launch QuikBIZ Express, a business-to-business e-commerce site. The site will launch offering Video, CD-Rom and DVD duplication, conversion, packaging and fulfillment services and will be adding additional media services over the next several months. Through an arrangement with DHL Worldwide Express, orders placed by 4:00 p.m. from anywhere in the United States are scheduled for same-day pickup from the client's location. "Using QuikBIZ Express, our corporate clients can log on, and in a few minutes order and pay for services, and design packaging and labeling. And no matter where in the country they are, they'll get quick local service, without leaving the comfort of their desks," said David Bawarsky, president and CEO of QuikBIZ. "We'll remove geographic limitations for companies that require these services and simplify the ordering process, while still providing extremely competitive rates, highest quality and fast turnaround." Once DHL has picked up a client's master(s), the client can log on to the QuikBIZ Express website and track the order's progress. Typically, QuikBIZ Express will turn around video duplication services within 24 to 48 hours from pickup. Typical turnarounds for other services will be less than the industry standards. QuikBIZ Express also will provide fulfillment services. A client's completed order can be returned directly to the client, e-mailed, or drop-shipped to client-provided recipient lists. A recent survey by Duke University Institute on the Corporate Outlook, says businesses are expected to increase their online spending, with two thirds expecting to buy online in 2000, double the figure that purchased online in 1998. The survey found that, on average, executives expect their companies to make 7.9 percent of their supply purchases online. "We have taken advantage of the Internet to provide a fast, easy and convenient way to deliver the services we've been providing to thousands of corporate clients - many of whom are Fortune 500 companies - at our QuikBIZ Media Centers for many years," Bawarsky said.
