Bruce / re KK interview on CNBC this morning

I would have missed it too except I overslept (Nyquil strikes again!) Kalkhoven interview was very short (maybe 90 seconds), Faber and whatshisname who fills in for Haines lobbed a few questions regarding revenue growth rates, the ETEK deal, etc.. Absolutely nothing said by KK that wasn't on the conf call yesterday. As usual, KK was upbeat, although he looked a little more tired perhaps than usual. I think he's been working his butt off. The last thing he said was great: "We've got one hell of a business." I'm a big fan of KK, and this also looks like the rare company where a merger of equals (JDS and UNPH) with co-CEO's (KK and Strauss) actually worked out. Really well. Nice to see JDSU holding up today on an otherwise pretty choppy down day. Best regards, Kirk.
