Jaz Prospects

If you are worried about SYQT's mythical Rocket drive, need I point out that this drive is pure vaporware at this point? In fact, SYQT has said very little at all about it other than they have some "technology" which might ultimately result in such a product. Remember SyJet took something like 18 months after the product was first announced before belatedly showing up. I seriously doubt if SYQT has the financial wherewithal to make SyJet a success at this point, let alone support the R&D and production ramp for successor products. But it seems that ghosts have always been IOM's fiercest competition. :)

Let's look at the facts: Jaz has been in volume production for around 18 months now. They've cut prices twice, including the most recent $100 price cut which SYQT has been unable to respond to. While SyJet is still struggling to come up to speed (what, exactly, does SYQT consider "volume" production?) Jaz is in at least its 2nd round of OEM inclusions. What OEM prospects does SYQT have for any of its lines?

As for the future, IOM has the luxury of debuting Jaz2 at its convenience because Jaz has no viable competition at this point. SyJet is not available in sufficient quantities that any OEM would consider it, they are unable to match IOM on pricing, having managed the amazing trick of losing $2 for every $1 in sales in the March quarter, and they continue to need massive cash infusions (funded by equally massive dillution) on a quarterly basis just to meet payroll.

IOM doesn't need to hype it's stuff at this point. The quarterly numbers speak for themselves.
