Sawyer has a completely different theory on the 40,000 years in his books and I can't tell if he is just exercising poetic license, or what-lol? He is usually pretty solid, although he is out there, but with taste, I think-lol. It is a pretty wild theory and has to do with the poles changing magnetic capabilities as they do every so often and birds ability to fly north and south-lol? I am sticking with hybrid vigor
