The Jews have DEFINITELY overplayed the persecution card, but I can't think of a religion that's been persecuted more over the last 2000 years (maybe I'm not thinking hard enough), and I don't have a problem giving them their one little state where some of them feel safe, as long as they play fair. Problem is, as long as they retain the WB and Gaza, they're not playing fair.

I see another side to their unfairness........their reluctance in recognizing the right of return stance of the Arabs. While I don't expect the Israelis to give up property to former Israeli Arabs who fled the war as was done in the Baltic states, however, I do expect that there be some kind of retribution similar to the retribution demanded of Switzerland by Holocaust survivors. Fair is fair, and the Arabs need to be dealt with fairly on this issue........using it as a negotiating tactic and as a deal maker or breaker stinks IMO.
