Harry,

I appreciate your posts very much. I've recently employed a "sell at the first sign of trouble" strategy. I had just accumulated a very small position in APM @ 28.5. When they reported a major short-fall in earnings the stock gapped lower to $25. I took my loss and it since went as low as $16 before recovering somewhat.

Unfortunately, the strategy I used with ASND is the "average down until you're in debt" approach.

One point you've been making that I question is that ASND / CSCC merger is messy. Is this your opinion based on BAY and COMS history, or have you read something to the effect? Everything I've seen indicates that the integration has gone quite smoothly (if I dig, I can probably locate supportive data).

Regards,

Larry
