I think the same thing is true in 2008 - many people can envision themselves chatting over a beer with McCain but can not see it happening with Romney.

Then there's the talk about who would you prefer to vote for? Someone like the guys you work with, or someone like the guy who lays them off (Romney). McCain is neither. He's the guy who takes his meals in the Senators only dining room in the Capitol.
