First of all, there is archaeological evidence that the Israelites were homegrown, sprouting from the local tribes rather than being a distinct people that invaded. I don't have stuff on the web about this, but I have textbooks from college.

Second, the absence of positive evidence strongly leans towards the negative here. The Egyptians did keep a lot of written records, and there's no record of 600,000 people leaving Egypt, after a series of amazing natural disasters and the entire army of the Pharaoh as well as the first-born son of every Egyptian being killed.
