He is wrong about many things including the fact that the product will ship late. They have always targeted q4 of 1999, and I felt they were going to miss that so to me October 1 is early. He is also confused that SONO's product, called the 180, has limited functionality. The process the company is going through like any new product introduction is to ship the product and then add functionality through software upgrades, new transducers, etc. He also rambled about SONO focusing on the emergency market. I didn't put much credence in what he said. Basically 99.9% of posters on Yahoo message boards have never talked to management. So how could you possibly argue either way about strategy without talking to management?
