The day i really came to understand what Trudeau meant to me was sometime after his reign when i landed at Heathrow and had to go through the Foreigners/Heathen Dogs line ... couldn't just flash the passport with its line inside the cover 'A Canadian Citizen is a British Subject' and pass through to the land of [some of] my ancestors anymore ... it is a land that some of them fought for in a great number of wars, under the red ensign and the white ensign and the union jack and St George's cross before them ... but now we are at Trudeau's insistence foreigners, they treat us like ... like ... well, like frenchmen ... so yeah, i understand your father ... 'a british subject i was born and a british subject i shall die' - Sir John A, who had a deep appreciation for the scotch as well.

The role of borders is changing as transport and communications improve ... that's my contribution to the endless federal/provincial debate, just that, too lazy to flesh it out.

It's a country of regions ... still, i feel more allied with some jerkoff newfie trying to scratch a living than i do with the average pompous twit from Bay Street or Parliament Hill ... so if i had my druthers, i wouldn't break it up ... maybe just redefine it a tich.

We disagreed? ... how could that be -g- ... apparently Chretien has backed down on robbing Sir William of his mountain, and is now open to ideas ... there was a guy on cbc radio today, he runs this site - tctrail.ca
