I think that Coherent is the greater threat to Cymer. They had a press release today stating that they have received multiple production orders for their 248 nm laser, along with some orders for the 195 (?) nm laser. There was no mention of the number of lasers, but the release also said they were rapidly increasing production rates. There is almost certainly some truth to the release, as opposed to it being primarily PR, since if a release of this type is untrue it is an invitation to being sued.
