However, from a very high level view, it probably made the most sense at the time. Up until the collapse of the Soviet Union I think most US foreign policy was based on stopping them. Now that that is completed, GB has changed the focus from stopping communism (regardless of what popped up in its place) toward supporting democracy. Soooooooo.......you believe Bush is doing this all for democracy. Is that your position? As for torture and murder being a normal part of life for me.....oh never mind. Why I bother with you is the bigger question. Now you've decided to stop asking questions? You must be tired. Must be a very slow day at work today!! Hardly......the work day has been over for hours.
