Thanks for your comments in regards to my question. I'm a "real" shorter, but also a confused one. Here's why...

I occasionally short stock, but I've never had one "called in" until yesterday. I shorted 800 JDAS a couple weeks ago at 28. Yesterday, 20 of the 800 shares were bought in at 27 7/8 on one week's notice.

I'm trying to understand what's going on with that, and how it may or may not relate to IOM shorts. Shorts who are apparently about 1 in 6 of IOM outstanding positions.
