My source tells me Rather stopped that despicable behavior 35 years ago. There are memos reflecting the truth of that, more at 11, and 6AM, and 8AM, and noon, and at 4PM and at 6PM and an exclusive at 9PM and we will review what has been learned during the day at 11PM...stay tuned tomorrow and the next day and the next for follow-ups. On the weekend we may be able to get an interview with Rather in which we will ask him a simple yes or no question... "Dan, are the reports true that you have stopped this despicable behavior of smacking your wife around or not?" If he refuses to answer this simple yes or no question, we will have definitive evidence regarding Dan's smacker character.
