The experience also convinced me to open up an account with another firm who will actually be available when you really need them. Roger, Who do you think that may be on these kind of days. From what I heard, every broker was having the same problem. To top it off, Etrade had two of their backbones go down on them yesterday, which needed to be rebooted. When it rains, it pours. I guess the $200 executions at a full service broker did not look bad yesterday, provided after you talked to your broker, he could put the trade through.
