10:05 ET Dow -11, Nasdaq -6, S&P -1.54: [BRIEFING.COM] It doesn't look like the markets are in a hurry to go down. The major averages hover just slightly in negative territory in trading that appears to be seeking direction. Market internals on the Big Board look slightly bullish and much improved over opening levels. Nasdaq market internals have also shifted for the better but carry a slightly bearish bias nonetheless. With the indices trading near important resistance levels it's difficult to determine in which direction the break will occur (if one occurs at all). Energy related issues continue to look solid with additional strength evident in transports and telecomm equipment. Weak sectors include financials, chemicals, software and biotech. DJTA -0.1%... DJUA +0.2%... SOX -1.0%... XOI +1.3%... BTK -1.3%... Nasdaq 100 -0.7%... S&P Midcap 400 -0.5%... Russell 2000 -0.3%... NYSE Adv/Dec 1084/1312... Nasdaq Adv/Dec 1219/1583.
