Microsoft launches Office 2000 upgrade
SAN FRANCISCO, June 7 (Reuters) - Microsoft Corp. (Nasdaq:MSFT - news) on Monday launched its Office 2000 upgrade for its widely used suite of business software, and said it has sold 15 million licenses so far of the new version designed to link traditional spreadsheet programs and word processing to the Internet.

Showing the emphasis on Internet connections for its new office software, Microsoft also announced agreements to market Web collaboration services with Concentric Network Corp. (Nasdaq:CNCX - news) and Verio Inc. (Nasdaq:VRIO - news), two leading Web-hosting services.
