Thank you for breathing some reality into this line of thinking.

Now for some constructive dreaming:

How many 'old' computers are there in the world? If the US is anything to go by -260 million population - 60 million home computers approx. Then in a world population of 5 billion say approximately 5 percent have computers already - that's 250 million computers out there (my guess). Think how useful it is for people with old boxes to beef up their storage with a simple plug-in device like Zip.

Furthermore, think how many schools have Mac's in the US and how useful it would be to add in a Zip drive. Each kid could store a years work on each disk without cluttering up the hard drive. Great value for money.

IOM's potential is massive. Let's just hope the marketing continues and that Wall Street takes off its frosted, steamed-up eye glasses, remove its blinkers and stops driving using the rear view mirror instead of looking through the windshield.
