What you described with screen freezing and locking up the computer is very similiar to problem that i have - with Netscape 4.7, which is my primary browser. I have 128 mg RAM on a P2 -266 with Roadrunner. I thought i had plenty of RAM, but could see that this isn't enuf, as i too spend plenty of time on line and have quotes, and other screens open. I have to ctr-alt-del to close netscape, sometimes have to reboot to get anything. the new puter should solve that. larry
