- IBM could have owned (completely or partially) the DOS/Windows systems - IBM could have stuck with OS/2 - IBM could have spent a lot of money; made the risk & commitment; & taken their chances just like MSFT did - IBM decided to not invest & put at risk all those $$millions & $$billions - & now the want MSFT's products on the Cheap. Ahh... only a plan that fits in with the Clintonista Welfare State.
