Johnd, I could not find a real reason for MSFT going up today. I thought maybe there are rumors of a settlement with the DOJ. Found nothing although there were stories about Windows CE and the settlement with Borland. However, none of those would be moving this stock while the Nasdaq was down (especially PC stocks). Sold half of my share position---waiting to buy them back later today.
